From Miss.Dakota who held my hand to my son's teacher Miss. Shadvin, names may have changed and years passed between but the unconditional love, trust and care of our nursery teachers have always been the same. THANK YOU.

Who are you waiting for? Are you Chokher Bali or Aachi ? Why are you sitting alone? Some of the questions I still keep asking the lady in the picture. She is surrounded by bright colours yet there is an air of melancholy around her. This painting was my first experience with oil colour and will always remain close to my heart.

" Om Guruvayur Appan Tunai". Listening to Narayaneeyam and painting this picture in Kerala mural art style was truly a divine experience.

Horses are magnificent beasts in which duality plays befitting roles. They can be mighty yet tender at the same time, aggressive yet loving, proud yet nurturing. The two horses are able to express themselves by a single touch..what could they be saying?? "I love you", " Don't be scared..", "Wanna run with me ??"..

" Om Namah Shivaya", another challenging and humbling experience. This Kerala Mural Art is an original hand drawn mural work. It took me more than 700 (wo) man hours to complete it, over a span of six months.I thank my teacher Latha, for guiding me through this mammoth project.

The movement between the violinist's body, her violin and her flowing hair inspired me to paint this picture. Every time I look at her I get a sense of synergy between the music and the blowing wind. Oil paint being a forgiving medium helped me get the strokes and angles of her flowing dress.

" Sambhashanam", was inspired by the colourful costumes of Kathakali, depicting Arjuna and Krishna in deep conversation...a prelude to the war at Kurukshetra. I have used acrylic colours here to highlight the bright costumes and accessories.

This painting of Sri Ananthapadmanabha Swamy embodies the grandeur and magnificence of Kerala Mural Art. It was my first mural painting and what a humbling experience it has been. For five months as I picked up the brush and put on my earphones, I was transported to a different world, every dot became a chant, a sense of deep meditation.
